Instarmac, the renowned provider of highway maintenance solutions for over 30 years, will be attending West Midlands HAUC (WM HAUC) and Anglian HAUC over the next two months, with their cold lay macadam and repair & refurbishment materials.

HAUC - The Highway Authorities and Utilities Committee was established in 1986 by the constituent bodies of the local Highway Authorities and the Utilities to assist the Secretary of State in proposals for new street works legislation. Regional HAUC’s operate in local areas to provide legislation, guidance and form matters of mutual interest in relation to street works.

WM HAUC that represent Shropshire, Staffordshire, W.Midlands, Warwickshire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire are holding their annual Roadshow at Staffordshire County Show Ground on the 15^th and 16^th September 2009. The annual show will be focusing on Safety on the Network, and will bring together highway authorities, utility companies and contractors to look in detail at the processes associated with on-site street works activities, as a starting point for improving safety and quality standards on the street.
